Developments in Anger Solutions

I cannot say how excited I am to be running Anger Solutions groups again after a long hiatus. It is great to get back to the roots of the program and to experience firsthand the excitement of watching participants go through the transformative process that is Anger Solutions. I'm writing this quick note to let you all in on what's new in the world of Anger Solutions.

Now that our new website (Leverage U) is up and running, it is time to pay attention to the CAASP section and to move Anger Solutions fully into the world of Web 2.0. To that end, we are currently updating our listing of authorized licensed providers to display on the website. In addition, we are taking the summer months to develop our JIT (just in time) training platform for those who would like to take Anger Solutions training but cannot afford the time away from work, the cost of training, and/or the travel required to come to Niagara for on-site training. We are, at this time, vetting and preparing to purchase state of the art webinar software through which we will be able to fully automate  remote Anger Solutions Bootcamp training. It is a very exciting prospect and we will have more news for you as time goes by.

With our new website, we are also going to enable license renewals through our online store. It is our hope that this process will also become fully automated in the near future; when the transition is complete, you will receive your license renewal notice at the same time every year, pay it online, and print your updated license agreement from the website. Easy peasy.

As for placing bulk orders online, that feature is not available at present; however, I like talking with you when you call to make an order, and providing that personal service keeps us all connected. I'm not sure we want to change that.

With regard to new materials, there is nothing in the hopper at this time. Last year was a banner year for new resource publication and frankly, I'm a little burned out from writing! :) In fact, one of our 2013 projects is data entry. We have bucket loads of data that you have submitted from your group sessions, and we want to begin aggregating this data in earnest, with a view to publishing our findings sometime in 2014. As promised, these research efforts will be of use to all of us as we strive to establish Anger Solutions as the best evidence-based anger "management" practice tool.

That's it for now! Please take a quick trip to www.angersolution.com and see how the site is progressing. Stop in often, as there will be more changes to come in the days ahead.
